Blueberry Crumb Bars

It has been a rainy weekend here, and I got soaked during this morning's farmer's market visit. I have picked up these Ontario Blueberries for these gorgeous Blueberry Crumb Bars.

These crumbly and buttery bars are sandwiched with a tangy Lemon & Blueberry filling. These have brighten up my crummy rainy afternoon.

I also noticed that the edges of leaves are starting to brown and bustles of Ontario Apples are starting making their appearances in the farmer's market. These are definitely signs that Fall is coming! Now I need to start to think of all the Fall ingredient I want to experiment with... any suggestions???

Rock & Roll Birthday Cupcakes: Chocolate Skulls

The birthday girl is young at heart with a rock & roll edge. Her wardrobe is full of black, greys & skull. I couldn't think of anything better than to surprise her with these cupcakes. They are classic golden cupcakes with a devilish Chocolate icing, then dazzled with chocolate skull toppers.

The toppers are hand made with dark & white chocolate. Some thinks Skull is symbol of death & danger... but these skulls are symbol of yum in my opinion!

Once again Happy Birthday to the special lady!
